All you have to know about the game Kanchayudha

Kanchayudha is an  Action game combined with adventure and open world exploration. The game was entirely developed by Sri Lankan Company called Arimac Lanka. The game has been released and available for free download from Arimac store.

Arimac Lanka is a developing partner for digital media including Design & Branding, 3D & VFX, Mobile Application Development, Web Design and Development, Game Development, Animation, Social Media Marketing.

The company was founded on 2008 by Mr. Chamira Prasad Jayasinghe. He obtained a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) degree in Information Technology with a First Class Honors from Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology. During the time being he executed multiple research projects and achieved various National and International Awards. While he was at Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology, he formed the HEDRA Programming Union. By conducting several workshops he was able to enhance the interest of the student towards programming. 

Now the company consists of 11 to 50 employees and have now spanned over 14 countries catering more than a hundred of clients globally.

The game has vowed around a legendary war hero called “Badhra”. The entire game based on ancient Sri Lanka and its cultural activities. Badhra is seeking revenge for his parents’ murders with real world exploartions.

Kanchayudha has been developed using UNREAL game engine developed by Epic Games, first showcased in the 1998 first-person shooter game Unreal. Although primarily developed for first-person shooters, it has been successfully used in a variety of other genres, including stealth, MMORPGs, and other RPGs. With its code written in C++, the Unreal Engine features a high degree of portability and is a tool used by many game developers today.
