Raspberry Pi is a series of sized personalized credit card computers developed in the UK by the Raspberry Pi Foundation to promote basic computer science education in schools and in developing countries. The original model was much more popular than expected, selling its target for uses such as robotics. Peripherals (including keyboards, mice and cases) are not included with Raspberry Pi. Some accessories have been included in several official and unofficial packages.According to the Raspberry Pi Foundation, more than 5 million Raspberry Pi sold before February 2015, making it the best British computer sales.
Taiwanese
computer company Asus has launched its own take on the hobby favorite,
Raspberry Pi. Recently introduced Tinker Board in the UK and Europe for £ 55 ($
68) and offers some smart improvements over previous C , But with a price bump
to match.
Specifications
for Tinker card contains a quad-core 1.8GHz ARM Cortex-A17 CPU, 2GB LPDDR3 RAM,
four USB 2.0 ports, support for Gigabit LAN and Bluetooth 4.0, 3.5mm audio
jack, microSD card slot, , Hot-swappable 802.11 b / g / n Wi-Fi antennas, and
an HDMI 2.0 port with 4K video support.
Compared
to Pi model B 3, all this should provide users with excellent Tinker 3D board
performance (courtesy of Mali-T764 GPU and dual RAM) and access to 4K.
Although, as noted by Ars Technica Council TheTinker happy to handle H.264 or
H.265 encoded files, it does not support 4K Netflix streaming - so not quite
perfect for building your own multimedia center.
