Upcomming Web Designing Trends

It is at this time of year when we look at the year that was and the year that will be. We've  looking forward to seeing what 2017 has in store for website and web design.

2017 is sure to get some great web design, but if we look hard enough we can already start seeing some trends that will undoubtedly dominate the 2017 sites

.

The end of flat design

I think we have reached a point in the plane of the band where everything starts to look the same, and we lost our personality and creativity in design. When you delete directly, we end up with what everyone has: basically similar.

From my point of view, turned flat design from a modern update of isomorphic design to a set of aesthetic design that all terms (think Google Materials). Because of this, the sites beginning to see the same, not very different places from each other. Designers believe that creativity is gone, and with a desire to create something great, I look flat design finishes, mainly for layout and design layout that is more imaginative and unique.

Geometric shapes, lines, and patterns

It seems that the use of geometric shapes, lines and patterns took off at the end of 2016, and I think it will continue until 2017. There are various ways in which geometric shapes composed of websites. When using circles around images, geometric or language images, the overall design of the site is highly dependent on the use of lines and patterns.

There is almost infinite variety of ways to incorporate geometric shapes, lines and patterns into your site, and this can be a way by which designers take fat design to a new level (and even add a little bit of Personality, as mentioned above). Overall, expect to see more of these types of design styles in 2017.

Duotone gradient imagery

In the pursuit of staying more on the brand, more brands are using duplex images and graphics for their websites.

Not strictly duplex, but certain patterns is also experimenting with two or three colors, and using the two-tone effect. Think Instagram. Even flat design helped us to get rid of (most) gradients, using the duplex imagery that combines a couple of colors together has proved to be a nice update of old and tired gradients and areas of solid color.

Increased use of animations and GIFs

Animations are beginning to be used heavily on sites as they are often a good way to show how something works, how to do something, or otherwise disclose meaningful content. GIF has been used for this purpose but now we serf GIF more and more sophisticated and animations using SVG and CSS to achieve some fairly unique design elements.

I think in 2017 the use of animations will become more common, as several types of shared content and animation help communicate more easily and faster than text and video can be. Plus, when done well, can often be even easier than several images or even a video.

Microinteractions

The micro interactions are subtle but powerful way to interact with a website. They are often found in plantations, click animations, effects of rolling, etc. Although we have always had these types of design elements, designers spend more time on them, making them informative and more refined.

Probably the most widely used integration overflight / flyover, where the visitor can simply move the cursor on parts of the site to see these micro interactions and interact with the site in this way.
