Hello, couple of weeks ago, Google released a preview build of their next version of android, Android O. Even it does not have any fancy and sweet name yet, it contains some interesting new features. So lets talk about the Android O.

Android O released schedule
Google has planned to release Android O during the 3rd quarter of 2017. Before that there will be another couple of pre-build releases for testing.
Notification Shade
When you swipe down for the notification bar, you will see some major changes. They have reordered the icons with more space. Also they have rearranged the date and time slots too.
Quick Settings
There are some notifiable in the quick setting section.If you can remember if we long press a quick setting button, we direct to the relevant settings menu, But in Android O, long press opens a mini setting window in the notification bar itself.
Apart from above main UI based changes. we have,
App Badges
Finally it is customizable. The small bubble in on the app icon with the notification count for that app is available to turn On or OFF in Android O.UI tuner.
In Android O . You have a special function called "System UI tuner" to make personalized changes according to your preferences.Navigation Bar
If you can remember the OnePlus one device. We have an option to adjust , re-order or customize navigation bar buttons. But that was in the Cynogen mode which was a customized Android OS.But from Android O, we can have built in Navigation bar settings feature.Apart from above main UI based changes. we have,
- An improved version of Ambiant display
- Abckground process limiting system
- Improved Audio Codecs for Bluetooth paybacks etc.
