This process can be done using a app (a launcher) called Apex Launcher. So first download Apex launcher from Google Play. Then Go to settings > Home and set Apex Launcher as your default launcher.
Then Go to Apex Launcher settings > Drawer Settings > Hidden Apps and then simply select the apps that you want to hide. And then tap Save.
That's it now the app will be hidden from the app drawer. But if you have that app's shortcut on your home screen you can still see it. So to get rid of that you can simply remove it by touch drag and remove the app.
So to access the app you can simply do a google search and you can access the app.
