Sunlight contains not only one color. It is a combination of many colors. Depending on the wavelength of each color ray, we can make a spectrum for the light as follows.
As you can see, the UV rays has the highest energy level and then Blue Light has got the 2nd place. Because of these characteristics both UV and Blue lights make negative effects to the human eyes and event for skin as well.

Blue light can harm to your eyes in several ways.
- Blue light damage the light sensitive cells in retina which can cause permanent vision lost.
- Because of the short wavelength and higher energy, it is hard for eye to focus on blue light, that means eyes get tired easily when exposing to too much blue light. We all this "EYE STRAIN".
