Mysterious " i " in Apple products







As we all know Apple products comes with a "i" prefix. 
iMac,iPod,iPhone,iTune,iPad all of which have the omnipresent "i". This "i" follow the Apple products science 1998, first iMac release year. But most of users never wonder the prefixes mean. why Apple prefer naming its products starting with "i"?

Well there have been many answers to this. In 1998 Apple event Steve jobs introduced the iMac. Jobs explained the i and Mac as below.



“iMac comes from the marriage of the excitement of the Internet with the simplicity of Macintosh,” he said. “We are targeting this for the no. 1 use that consumers tell us they want a computer for, which is to get on the Internet simply and fast.”
As in the video "i" stand for
  •  internet 
  • individual 
  • instruct 
  • inform 
  • inspire 
When iPhone was announced in 2007, three key ingredients was intertnet communication, bring back "i" to original meaning(internet), Music and Phone calls.

All the Apple products now have built in Internet connectivity. But Apple grows  "i" has appear fit for the Apple. But "i" abandoned while branding. As Apple Watch and Apple TV insted of iWatch and iTV. But sooner or later Apple will get back to their  "i" because it have a Mysterious value !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! .
